While Broad Ripple niche clubs, pubs and night spots generally cater to everyone from Generation Y to Generation Midlife, Peppers is definitely a place for club-hopping twentysomethings. It's busy but not cramped, and the main floor bar hosts live music Tuesday through Saturday. From young and cleverly-named party bands (i.e. Wicked Liz and the Bellyswirls) to the area's most recognized musicians, good music is a priority at Peppers. Head below deck to "Peppers Underground" and you'll find cozy couches, 10 pool tables, another large dance floor and plenty of cold ones in the basement oasis. Like any nightclub worth its salt, ladies bypass the line and get in free on Fridays, and until 11PM on Tuesdays. -- Mark Erickson
